Find creative ways to remember.
Some escape rooms will give you paper and pen, others will not. The places that do not offer a writing instrument will usually offer other creative ways to keep track of answers. Look for those ways. For example, Scrabble tiles could be used to remember a word or gathering a number of objects could help remember a number.
