Progress

I’m about a month in and I’m down to 235 – a savings of 7 pounds.  My average carb intake is probably around 30-40 grams daily.  Even though I was intending to have a cheat day every other week, I completely forgot about it and went without having an explicit cheat day (up until today when Jenny reminded me I was supposed to cheat).

Cravings are noticeable.  I want soft pretzels, for sure.  There’s two ways I figured out how to take in something similar.

  1. Chick-Fil-A nuggets are still only 8 grams of carbs.
  2. Went to Landry’s Seafood House and ordered parmesan-crusted snapper.  There was no breading, but it had the texture of breading.  A nice substitute for sure.

Changes

My shorts are fitting a little looser and the weight is going down.  I’ll keep on this course until I notice something negative.
